Kritikal ang lagay ni Juan Ponce Enrile 103, sa ICU dahil sa pneumonia.
Naglabas ng pahayag ang anak ni Juan Ponce Enrile na si Katrina, kasalukuyang nasa ICU raw ang kanyang ama matapos tamaan ng pneumonia.
Ani Katrina : “My father, Juan Ponce Enrile, remains in the ICU where he is currently being treated for pneumonia.
“He is under the dedicated care of his attending physicians and medical staff who are providing him with the best possible treatment and attention.”
Dagdag pa niya : “We are deeply grateful for the concern, prayers, and support extended to our family during this time. Thank you very much.”
Kinumpirma naman ni Sen. Jinggoy Estrada sa senado noong Nov. 11 ang kalagayan ng dating senate president, aniya na kaunti nalang ang chances na mag-survive pa si Juan Ponce.
Pahayag ni Sen. Jinggoy : “I have just received a very, very sad information that our former colleague, former Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile, is currenty in the intensive care unit of an undisclosed hospital suffering from pneumonia.”
Dagdag pa ng senador : “And I heard from a reliable source, very, very reliable source that he has slim chances of surviving.”
Kumalat naman sa social media ang mga artcards tungkol sa pagpanaw ni Juan Ponce Enrile, may mga news pages rin gaya ng Daily Tribune at Abante News Online ang nagpost tungkol sa pagkamatay ng dating senate president na agad naman nilang binura.
Agad naman na nilinaw ni Katrina ang tungkol sa mga death hoax na kumakalat online dahil buhay na buhay pa raw ang kanyang ama.
Paglilinaw ni Katrina : “My father is still alive. It’s alarming to get so many messages asking me if my dad just passed away. He is actually eating right now.
“I know who started this vicious fake news. Do you want me to name you? Please have a heart and stop!
“Have a heart and leave us alone! If you think this is a joke, it’s a bad joke. You are a heartless human being to think that it even constitutes as being humorous or entertaining! And if you wish that upon anyone, then shame on you.” dagdag pa nito.
